1-3-2-6 Baccarat System

The 1-3-2-6 Baccarat System is the system which determines how much money to stake each hand. 1, 3, 2, and 6 are the numbers showing how many units you have to wager on each hand. A unit is certain amount of money you decide to bet.

According to the strategy you have to bet 1 unit on the first hand. If you win this hand, you have to wager 3 units on the second hand.

If you win again you have to wager 2 units. And if you win the third hand you have to wager 6 units. If you win all 4 hands you will get 12 units as the pure profit.

For example, your bet is $10 on the first hand. You win, so you get your $10 back and win $10 more. On the second hand you must add $10 to your $20 therefore your bet is $30. You win again so you will have $60 ($30 your bet + $30 your win). Now you have to wager 2 units that is $20. You win again and have to wager $60 and if you win the fourth hand you'll get $120.

If you lose any hand, you have to return to the very beginning and start again with 1 unit, to minimize losses.

They say, the maximum loss on any bet is not more than 2 units:

• If you lose the first hand your loss is 1 unit.
• If you lose the second hand your loss is 2 units.
• If you lose the third hand, your profit is 2 units.
• If you lose the fourth hand, you break even.

But honestly speaking, the 1-3-2-6 system doesn't work for Baccarat. It can work for games such as Roulette or Sic Bo. But it doesn't work in Baccarat because of a 5% commission on the banker bet.

I've told you above that you will have even money if you win 3 hands and lose the fourth, but it is only true for the Player bet. But the house edge is higher on the Player bet, so your chances to win are less than on the Banker bet. And if you bet on the banker your loss on the fourth hand is 0.3 units.

But if you want you can try it. Just remember in the long run the casino gets much more odds. So, if you win using the 1-3-2-6 system, you’d better leave the table with your winnings and not try your luck!
