When you think of a ballroom, chances are you’re thinking of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, twirling around in that unmistakable way. There’s a bit less dancing going on in the Blackjack Ballroom, but that doesn’t mean it’s not where the action’s at.

This casino from the Casino Rewards Group is one of my favourite places to play blackjack online, along with a number of other casino games. With over 500 to choose from, there’s plenty to keep you busy – plus it’s a Microgaming casino too, so you can be assured of a top-notch gaming experience when you play.

As part of the Casino Rewards Group, you can take it as read that this is a legitimate and trustworthy place to play online. If you’re in the US, mainland Europe (not the UK) or Australia, you’re probably best to look elsewhere – according to the terms of their license, Blackjack Ballroom Casino won’t be able to accept your account.

Try out Bovada if you’re in the US instead, or Betway if you’re playing from Europe. I’ve found both of those casinos to be pretty good, and they accept players from the US and Europe respectively. The casino is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority respectively, so you can be doubly confident they’re the real deal.

I’ve played at Blackjack Ballroom many, many times, and can recommend it from personal experience. But you don’t have to trust me alone – there are plenty of positive reviews from players who’ve enjoyed the same impressive level of customer service as I have. Not to mention, there are plenty who have made it to the winners’ list.

Luckily, their support team is on hand to make the whole process as smooth as it can be, and with responsive customer support and convenient deposit and withdrawal processes, it feels like this is one casino that’s on your side.

User Experience

One of the best elements of Blackjack Ballroom is the user experience. If you’ve played at Casino Rewards Group casinos before, you’ll know the drill – Blackjack Ballroom pretty much lives up to what you’d expect, in terms of the banking methods, customer support, and general ease of play.

There are a couple of things to watch out for, specifically the two working days pending period for withdrawals. This caught me out before when I was trying to withdraw over a bank holiday weekend. I hit the withdrawal on Thursday night, and because of the holidays, it wasn’t actually processed until the Tuesday. This feels like ages when the dates aren’t working in your favour, and I was pretty frustrated at the time.

Of course, it’s not the end of the world, so long as you know what to expect. And in most cases, you’re looking at just 48 hours from triggering the withdrawal to the pending period coming to an end, so it’s not too bad. Just bear this in mind when you’re playing so you don’t find yourself getting all hot under the collar.

When it comes to the banking methods themselves, there are plenty of options to choose from. I usually like to bank with a method that can be used for both deposits and withdrawals. In this case, that means anything like Bank Transfers, eCheck, ecoPayz, EntroPay, InstaDebit, Kalibra Card, Maestro, MasterCard, NETELLER, PayPal, Postepay, Reverse Withdrawal Request, Skrill or Visa. Even the fact that this is a PayPal supported casino is testament to its convenience.

If none of these suit, or if you want to use some alternative payment methods, you can deposit only through Citadel Instant Banking, eps, Euteller, GiroPay, iDeal, iDebit, Instant Banking, MB Multibanco, Neosurf, paysafecard, Poli, Przelewy24, Qiwi Wallet, Sofortuberweisung, Trustly, and Zimpler, while withdrawals only are available through Bank Wire Transfer, Check by Mail, Courier Check, and SWIFT. It’s hard to imagine anyone who would find that limiting.

Beyond the financials, the level of customer support is impressive, and just what I’ve come to expect from this group of casinos over the years. I usually hit them up on live chat, and there’s someone there virtually 24/7 to answer your requests in a couple of minutes.

Or if you prefer to speak to a real person, there’s a toll-free telephone line you can call around the clock to get the help you need. They’ve also got a good reputation for being helpful and easy to deal with, which is always a positive when you need their help.

Game Types & Selection

So let’s get down to the nitty gritty. We know this is a good casino in terms of customer service and what you can expect when you log-on to play there. But what about the actual selection and type of games on offer? As the name suggests, these guys go heavy on the blackjack.

Blackjack and roulette games are offered in abundance, and must account for a fair percentage of the total games in their own right. There are plenty of variations, and you’re free to play in demo and real play modes, depending on whether you’re testing out the rules, brushing up on your skills, or ready to play for real money.

With over 500 games in the catalogue, this Microgaming casino is a one-size-fits-all online destination. While blackjack is clearly a major focus, it’s far from all there is to get excited about. There’s also a huge range of Microgaming slots which you can enjoy online and on mobile, as well as single hand, multi-hand, and multiplier video poker, plus a smattering of less common table games for those with more unique tastes.

Whatever you think of Blackjack Ballroom, the games are one area where you won’t feel let down. There are event plenty of progressive jackpots available too, so if you’re chasing that life-changing prize, this could be the casino that provides it.

Deposit Bonuses

Casino Rewards Group casinos are in my experience pretty generous in the deposit bonuses they offer. Blackjack Ballroom is no different, with up to $500 available as a sign-up bonus. However, on your first deposit, you’re looking at an eye-watering 60x playthrough requirement before you can withdraw. This is higher than I would like to recommend, and if I could offer them some advice, it would be to reduce this multiple. Fortunately, it only applies to the very first deposit.

Your subsequent deposits which attract bonuses only have to be wagered 30x, which is pretty low by industry standards. To me, this almost makes up for the 60x requirement on the first deposit. If you average them out, you’re looking at a much lower wagering requirement by the time you’ve played through your first five deposits or so, so in some respects this rewards your ongoing loyalty.

One thing to bear in mind about Blackjack Ballroom is that this is a no-nonsense casino, especially as far as bonus terms and wagering requirements are concerned. They don’t suffer fools gladly, so don’t even try. You need to meet the terms and conditions to the letter if you want to withdraw your bonus successfully, and any player complaints I’ve come across arise directly from the player’s misunderstanding of these terms. It’s not difficult to comply, but just make sure you put in the bare minimum effort required to avoid problems further down the line.

Type Amount(%) Matched Amount Wagering Code

Supported Devices

Whether you’re playing on desktop, iOS, Android or even a Windows phone (why?!), you’ll find your device is fully supported by the Blackjack Ballroom site. You can simply play in browser, and you can create your account in seconds by heading over to the Blackjack Ballroom website. This will render natively on your device, thanks to the mobile version of their site, which they show by default to new visitors.

That means you don’t need to find an app, or go through the rigmarole of downloading and installing – just fire up your browser and head on over to start playing at your leisure.

Our Verdict

Blackjack Ballroom is not some fly by night operation, nor does it build its reputation by fawning over customers. Instead, it’s a fair place to play that recognises its own strengths, in particular the huge selection of games and the impressive bonus structure. If you’re serious about a high quality gambling experience with the potential to win seriously good jackpots, I’d recommend you check this out. Their support team is second to none, and you’ll find the whole experience as convenient as it is enjoyable – highly recommended.
