32Red has just announced that the winner who had hit Cash Splash jackpot twice became luckier winning a third and fourth jackpot to make it a total of four starting from October. After winning $14,915 and $22,949 in October and November, the recent wins of the player show one of the most unparalleled slaps of luck in 32Red casino’s history and he is considered to be one of the luckiest players ever.

The 32Red Casino is a proud member of 32Red Plc that specializes in online gaming, a mobile casino, online poker, online bingo and an alternative online casino. Casinomeister named 32Red Best Casino six consecutive years since 2003. 32Red Online Casino is acclaimed as the favorite casino throughout the UK.
The last jackpots proved to be a truly special present for Christmas for the player from Dorset, England, with $65,000 paid out by 32Red in three months from 4 lucky spins of the same slot machine. Pat Harrison, spokesman and Operations Director at 32Red, said that they were really astounded and delighted that players continued a streak of good luck at the casino. To win a progressive jackpot is a once in a lifetime, but the recent winnings prove that anybody can win big sums at any time. Harrison just regretted that nobody could hit the Mega Moolah slot, where the main jackpot had already reached a staggering $4,900,000 mark.

32Red is home to more than 350 casino games including 14 progressive jackpots, Cash Splash is just one among them. Every progressive game creates its jackpot by taking a small part of each bet to prize pot, where it grows till somebody could hit it. The result is some of online biggest, life-changing jackpots.

Now 32Red has launched a new brand progressive game. Mega Moolah 5 Reel Drive slot boasts an trilling, all-American drag racing theme that is powered by the Mega Moolah game engine and is linked to the minimum 1 million Mega Moolah jackpot. In January the casino is also launching two new regular slots (Polar Pioneers and Liquid Gold) and a new video poker game called Joker Poker Level Up.

Final merger of Cpays and Will Hill

Monday, 26 January, 2009

This article may seem to be published too late, but after you have read it up to the end you will see why it has appeared just now.

As you know, one of the biggest online operators, Cpays and the major UK gambling operator, Will Hill announced their merger in October, 2008.

Last October William Hill started to combine forces with Playtech, the top online gambling software provider. According to the deal, Playtech takes a 29% stake in William Hill Online, a new online gaming and sports betting operation, in return for folding in $250m worth of acquired affiliate businesses with lots of customers.

William Hill, in its turn, puts its existing online assets into this joint venture, owns the rest of William Hill Online and has full operational control. It also agreed to use Playtech’s software for casino games and poker for at least five years.

The Gambling Affiliate programs are set to merge in toto in 2009 but ad interim William Hill has taken over all operations from CPays.

It is considered one of the largest mergers in online gambling and sports betting history, with joining together the affiliate programs of William Hill, CPays and Webroute Affiliates, to create a new group - Affiliate Guarantees.

In regards to the merger Ralph Topping, Chief executive at William Hill, said: “This deal strengthens us. It was the right thing to do; we’ll have a much stronger business over the course of the next four years.”

But why are we publishing this article just at the point? Cpays had been a very strong player in the market before The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was approved in the end of 2006. But sometimes the company used spam technology (however, I think it was not the online operator who used it but webmasters who were working with them). Though, both the software and the gambling operator have rather good reputation and there have been few complaints from players.

As for William Hill, it has an enviable and unblemished reputation in business.

Recently Playtech has laid their 2008 year’s results open to the public. The company’s gross revenue (Playtech along with iPoker) has increased by 70%! It will be recalled that the 2007 year’s revenues increased even by 101%! After Playtech had left the US online gambling market it has been doing a really smashing job on other markets. Everybody knows Titan Poker, the biggest poker room of the iPoker Network, which follows hard on FullTit and PokerStars’ heels.

As you see, Will Hill’s moving from Cryptologic to Playtech is really the largest deal for the past few years.

Playtech has Good 2008 Numbers

Friday, 23 January, 2009

One of the major online gambling software development companies, Playtech plc has reported a steadfast grows for its full year and the fourth quarter of the 2008 activities.

According to management reports, Playtech has finished 2008 with record revenues. Total revenue for 2008 is €111.5 million, representing a 70% increase on the €65.7 million in 2007.

Total revenues for the fourth quarter are €31.5 million, representing a 52% increase on the €20.8 million for the fourth quarter of 2007.

The company has completed two main landmarks that will bring Playtech into 2009 with an expanded business that will force the way through the current economic situation.

The first landmark was the successful finalization of the range of transactions with Will Hill and Playtech affiliates. At the very beginning of 2009 the company announced that all assets and businesses that Playtech purchased from its affiliates and third parties were injected into William Hill Online, and Playtech is its gambling software provider. After that William Hill successfully launched its Poker and Casino with Playtech’s software.

The second landmark was achieved in the fourth quarter, 2008 when Playtech could enter the regulated poker market of Italy in December. Current results prove that the Italian poker network is considerably revenue enhancing and above expectations of management.

Commenting on the KPI’s Mor Weizer, Playtech’s Chief Executive, said: “Again we’ve had a successful quarter both strategically and operationally as we continue growing the business and make the most opportunities presenting themselves. We’re particularly glad with how smoothly the integration of the Will Hill joint venture progressed that bodes well for the significant strategic company development. The company met expectations of management’s demanding and we’re confident that Playtech will meet its aims for the full year.”

Jon Kyl Desperately supports UIGEA

Tuesday, 20 January, 2009

Jon Kyl, US Senator representing Arizona, has always opposed online gambling and he is making some noise again and putting pressure on Eric Holder, Attorney General. At appointment hearing, Jon Kyl asked Holder some direct questions to make it appear that he was for continuing the policy of banning online gambling.

The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) is the piece of legislation that tries to strong-arm financial institutions to block transactions that are made for online gambling aims. Now the UIGEA faces serious difficulty in the enforcement stage. Kyl virtually wanted to hear the prospective AG say he would enforce the laws against online gambling.

Holder answered that he would do this indeed (but many think he did so just to soothe Kyl), but the real problem is that the UIGEA is a controversial law and its enforcement is very impractical. As there was not any framework explaining how to block transactions, the financial institutions have received a great burden. Since the UIGEA passed, there is no progress, and US residents continue gambling online at casinos, poker rooms, bingo rooms, and sportsbooks.

It is clearly, Kyl worked hard so that the UIGEA would become law, and wouldn’t want all his efforts to run to waste. Maybe, he even believes banning internet gambling will become his legacy. Having faced with certain doubts about his legislation effectiveness, Kyl initiated “midnight drop” add-ons to the gambling ban hoping these actions would make it more efficacious at blocking financial transactions between US banking institutions and online casinos. Kyl even put pressure on Holder to make him enforce Kyl’s midnight regulations.

However, the truth is that such questions have no weight. After Holder goes through the appointment hearing, and he is very likely to do, and as appointed Attorney General, he will be able to do substantially whatever he likes with the UIGEA. And since the Attorney General would be completely independent of the President, taking into consideration the current hard economic situation and that an Obama budget will very likely to call for more government funding, the chances of overturning the UIGEA and regulating online casino gambling looks good.

Almost a year ago, one lucky player having put a bet of 25 cent won more than $5 million, this became possible because of infinite good luck, bets and the use of big progressive jackpot slots machine like Mega Moolah or Cashalot.

The news that has come this week says that Mega Moolah has set a new record and overcame the 5 million mark, paving the way for that unique coincidence of luck, bets and spins that could bring a huge jackpot winning to some unsuspecting online slot fan.

The prize pools of 5 reel slots Mega Moolah and King Cashalot have been growing swiftly over the past months with the probability that the King Cashalot record payout of over £1.2 million and $5 million on Mega Moolah could be due again at internet casinos like Ladbrokescasino.com.

A spokesperson for Ladbrokescasino.com said: “It is only the matter of time before somebody hits the jackpot.” Both payouts are big and will be a welcome win to take on 2009. Both slots offer breathtaking gaming experiences and they are the most exciting offerings that Ladbrokes Casino can make.

Moreover, Ladbrokes Casino offers a range of special promotions and bonuses, which include the Free Spins Giveaway giving players free spins every weekend if you play the new scratch cards, the Magic Chip Drops, and a big $100 Welcome Bonus for new players.

UK increases slot limits

Monday, 5 January, 2009

According to The Times Online, Andrew Burnham, UK Cultural Secretary, approved a resolution to relax slot limits. The new guidelines permit slots in pubs, the nation’s clubs and land bookmakers to now accept bets of up to $1.47 and to pay out a max of $102.88.

Newly approved limits are almost double the $0.74 bets and $51.47 payouts that had been allowed before. It is expected tax revenue to increase by 20% that is over $40 million.

At the point, slot machines in the UK generate more than $14 billion in total revenue and pay out nearly $12 billion in prizes. This limits were risen the second time for many years.

However, some concerns have already appeared in the media. They say the new limits will incite gambling addiction during the present economic recession. Anna Drew, Methodist Church spokeswoman, said as a player’s initial losses increase his likelihood of making more wagers. Drew said: “People chase their losses on slots”.

According to GameCare, Britain have nearly a third of a million problem players. Critics also think that the new limits might create more chances for problem gamblers to make bets. An increase in betting limits will cause clubs and pubs to augment the number of slots.

Throughout the UK there are around 80,000 slot machines to date with an 8.1 million regular players. And according to the UK Gambling Commission, about one-third of these players are younger than 25 years old, most of them are male.

Religious groups have accused Gordon Brown of promoting greed in Britain and they consider the new limits the evidence. Brown’s supporters call this in question and remind of the fact that the prime minister is in opposition to casino expansion. Soon after Brown became Prime Minister he axed plans for Manchester project of super casinos with unlimited jackpots.

They also said that Parliament had made smaller increases but no less than twice the previous limits would in the main increase tax revenue.

Brown says it is a necessary step, as “the economy isn’t moving.”

Furthermore, a spokesman for the Department of Culture, Media and Sports asserted that the Gambling Commission would enforce a stringent code of conduct on slot machine operators. He said that ‘the protection of children and vulnerable people’ is the objectives of the Gambling Act and it remains the priority.
