Editors comment:
Empire Poker is the second largest site on the Party Poker network after Party Poker. There is VIP loyalty program for regular players. The player volume is massive and the largest in the world. Empire Poker doesn’t share the same multi table tournaments with Party Poker and has therefore less tournament players than Party Poker.
Full review:
(This casino has decided not to allow US players at the moment) Empire poker has the nicest skin on the Party Poker network. The design is better looking than the rest of the sites and the games run smooth. The looseness of the games is mixed, some games are extremely loose aggressive while other are quite tough and hard to beat. Table selection is therefore important. The lobby doesn’t show viewed hands percentage or hands played per hour, which makes it more difficult to find the good games but it protects the loose games at the same time.
The most popular game is fixed limit Texas Hold’em but there are many tables open on the other games as well, mostly due to the big player volume. Besides fixed limit Texas Hold’em Empire Poker also spreads no limit Texas, Omaha both high and high-low and Seven-Card Stud both high and high-low. The single table tournaments are also very popular and there are many running.
The rake is ok besides on the low limit tables where the rake can be 10%. $0.5 rake on a $5 pot. Empire Poker has a loyalty program called the VIP club that awards regular players. There are also regular free-rolls held.
