European Blackjack

European Blackjack is played with two decks of 52 cards. Decks are shuffled after every game has been completed.

The rules are very simple. Blackjack beats any hand with a total value of 21. The Dealer must stand on all 17 and draws on all 16.

Split is possible up to 3 times. The player can split hands with the same card denomination but not with the same value.

Double is possible when the player has a hand with a value of 9, 10 or 11. The doubling bet is the same as the original bet. After doubling down only one card is dealt and the hand stands automatically. The player can’t double after split.

If the dealer’s face-up card is an Ace the player can make insurance that costs half the original bet.

The player can’t make insurance after a split, or a double.
